Description
The word “konpeito” comes from the Portuguese word confeito, which means sugar candy. Konpeito candy came to Japan around the 15th century and has since become a popular traditional candy.
The design of these earrings (pierce and clip-on available) captures the happiness and playfulness associated with this particular candy. Two “candies” make this design, with the bottom part able to freely move.
