Description
The word “konpeito” comes from the Portuguese word confeito, which means sugar candy. Konpeito candy came to Japan around the 15th century and has since become a popular traditional candy.
The design of this simple pendant head captures the happiness and playfulness associated with this particular candy. It can be worn suitably on either a choker or a chain (chain is optional).
